Hey there! Spring is here!, and you know what that means - it's time to do a little spring cleaning around the house. I always love this time of year because it's the perfect opportunity to freshen up your living space and start anew. We also got some tips and ideas on how to get started!

  1. Make a list of everything that has to be done, along with who is in charge of what. This will help you make sure everyone knows what needs to be done and how long it will take.

  2. After planning and assigning, it’s time to get started! Start with your kitchen. Given that so many people will be cooking during this time of year, your kitchen is the first place that requires attention. If you’re having trouble keeping up with the dishes and cleanliness in general, maybe it’s time to hire some help or invest in some new tools that can make cooking easier.

  3. The restroom is the next on our list- don’t overlook all those restrooms! If yours has been neglected over the winter months, now’s the time to give them some love before guests start showing up again! You can try installing new lighting fixtures or redecorate your restroom's ambiance (you can search through google or pinterest for some inspiration restroom look for this spring season!).

  4. Clean your windows. The first thing you should do when spring arrives is clean off any frost that has formed on your windows. Clean the glass by rubbing it with a soft cloth, dipped in warm water and a little dish soap. To avoid leaving streaks, make sure all of the soap has been removed.

  5. Clean up around the house by sweeping away leaves from the outside corners of the home so that they don’t gather too much moisture from rainwater during spring rains (this will ruin carpets if left untreated). If you can, sweep the sidewalks as well. This will prevent dirt from tracking inside your home.

Spring cleaning can be a daunting task, but it’s a great way to refresh your home and get ready for the warmer months. You can have your home looking its finest in no time by organizing your space, performing a thorough cleaning, and taking on each room one at a time. Don’t forget to take some breaks and ask your family members for some help (this can be good family bonding too!). Interested for more home tips?
